An idea and app spawned over the weekend…
while listening to my sister’s ‘rage’ about how all the mortgage calculators on the App store so horrible to use. And this is the result!
Personar is a platform that makes creating/listing events and discovering events around the user simple and easy.
The aim of this app is to answer the question “What should we do today?” and “What’s happening around me in the next few hours?” The first target audience are students, where Personar hope to help student see what’s happening around their campus to fill those time gaps between classes or assignment-free nights. Not limited to just ‘events’, but also lectures, guest speakers, student events, clubs, and deals/sales/trading between students.
Making social media icons is like the ‘Hello World’ for designers…

Big fan of the game and the MOBA genre. Always frustrated that you can’t use visit the store unless you are logged inside the game client!
So I came up with a iOS app concept for a store that can be accessed out the game. Who doesn’t like to shop on the go?

During my final semester at college, I decided to go old school and worked at a letterpress studio, hoping to gain some first hand experience about letterpress and typography. (It’s like Lego, but with paint thrown in the mix!)
A style board to set the style and flow of a TV advertisement for Breakfast Television.
Multiple style boards were created: Logo Reveal, Closing Animation, Talent Introduction and Phrase Animation.
The project where I finally embraced and appreciate the power of the style function.
Created the entire magazine from scratch (minus the articles and photography), from style guidelines, layout, advertisement spots selling, creating ads, photo touch up, chasing down articles, liaison between content writers, constant massaging of the text – good times!
